Of course food can affect your mood!
It’s widely known that your mood can trigger food cravings, cause you to overeat or kill your appetite entirely. But the opposite also holds true in that the food you eat can make or break your mood.
This is apparent not only in the minutes after you’ve eaten but also over time, as your diet helps to shape your mental health from the inside out.
So what food can you eat to feel better?
Eggs. Eating protein will increase your level of alertness and energy. To ensure protein intake, eat a boiled egg. It will also provide a dose of vitamin D which increases the amount of serotonin in the brain and result in a better mood.
Bananas.If you are angry, you can change your mood by eating foods rich in potassium, an electrolyte that helps lower blood pressure. Have the same effect and beans, corn and potatoes.
Vitamin C found in citrus Citrus is essential to ward off stress, so it is good to eat oranges, grapefruit, kiwi, etc. In addition to citrus, you can add in eating broccoli and green peppers, which contain vitamin C.
Whole grains. Carbohydrates trigger the release of insulin into the bloodstream, which relaxes and soothes tensions. Complex carbohydrates such as whole grains are blown in regularly so you can stay in good longer.
Spinach. Lack of folic acid reduces the level of serotonin in the brain, which can cause depression. Eat spinach to get 50% of the recommended daily intake of folic acid. As a "bonus", spinach contains magnesium, a mineral that is relaxing and tranquilizing effect and will help you to be merry.
And the last thing on our list is CHOCOLATE. The reason people love chocolate you not its composition. The sweet taste of chocolate stimulates the brain center mood. Eat chocolate,to be always happy and cheerful.
